Members of FarmHouse are expected to make it a priority to “give promise of service to their fellow men and to the world.” As an organization, we exemplify our promise of service through fundraising events such as our annual fish fry. These events benefit our national philanthropies: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Be the Match. Each member is expected to go above and beyond by volunteering for at least 10 hours of service each semester.
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is a leader in the fight to cure cancer. LLS participates in groundbreaking research that creates hope in finding cures for blood cancers. In addition to this, LLS educates and provides support to families of patients who are fighting leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma.
Be the Match: The National Bone Marrow Donor Registry
Be the Match provides thousands of life saving transplants and financial support to patients in need of treatment. The organization also maintains the National Bone Marrow Donor Registry which connects millions of potential donors with patients in need.
