Service

  • The Object of FarmHouse Fraternity Reminds Us That, "Men Elected To Our Membership Are Considered... To Give Promise of Service to Their Fellowmen and To The World."

It is with this principle that the Men of NDSU FarmHouse volunteer 100's of hours of service every semester with the belief that it not only aids our community but it helps to strengthen Our Brotherhood.

Some of Our Annual Projects Include:

    • Great Plains Food Bank
    • Bounce-a-Thon
    • Adopt-a-Highway Program outside of Mapleton, ND
    • Sandbagging

The Spring of 2011 Projects Include:

    • NDSU Service Plunge on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
    • Fight-the-Frost with the Ladies of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority
    • 52nd Kiwanis Pancake Karnival
    • NDSU's Production of Oklahoma!

So far in 2011 the 41 Men of FarmHouse have donated over 400 hours of service. That is over 10 hours of service per man since January!
